Vacuum bags shrink bottom seal are made by blown extrusion. Blown extrusion means that there is only a seam on one side of the bag. As a result, the bag alone cannot be narrower than 200mm. The difference between the vacuum bag shrink bottom seal and the vacuum bag side seal is that the vacuum bag side seal can be narrower than 200mm. Furthermore, the bags have a shelf life of 1 to 2 years.
A vacuum bag shrink bottom/side seal consists of the materials: PE, EVO-H and P. PE or polyethene provides the strength of the bag and the sealability. EVO-H or ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer. This fabric ensures that the bag will not bend or crack easily, and furthermore, it does not allow organic solvents. Finally, we have PA or polyamide. This ensures that the colour and shelf life of the bag is preserved.

A Shrink bag is often used for storing food for longer. This is because the shrink bag creates a longer shelf life. Especially with meat or vegetables, for example. Then a normal vacuum bag. That is why these bags are also used with a somewhat more expensive range. Such as high-quality meat or an expensive type of fish.
The vacuum bags shrink can also be put in the freezer. In the freezer, there is a chance that the shrink bag reduces its vacuum force a bit.
How do you use the vacuum bags shrink bottom seal/side seal?
Usually, vacuum shrink bags are used for meat or vegetables. These are placed in the bag and then placed in the vacuum machine. After the vacuum machine, they are immersed in a bath of 93 degrees. Or they are placed under a rain shower of 93 degrees. A rain shower is a long conveyor belt in which all kinds of jets of water are sprayed onto the shrink bag from different directions. Due to the techniques, the bag shrinks around the meat or vegetables.
